It was a great quiet location in contrast with hectic Tokyo, only 3-4 subway stops away. Well-equipped apartment with good separation of space for 3 grownups and super to have 2 bathrooms! The local area was also fun with lots of great places to eat as well as a supermarket with everything. Highly recommend!
We are so happy you enjoyed the house. Please come back anytime.
It's a lovely place with good location. The beds are comfortable. You need to adjust to the distribution of the rooms (entering through the bathroom is a bit strange...) but all in all - good, decent and very nice hospitality.
We loved the area, especially the convenience of the supermarket and the fantastic restaurants (sushi and ramen places near the station are highly recommended). The house was comfortable but not central so you need to not mind using the subway a lot. It was a squeeze for four and you can't really cook a proper meal, but the beds were comfy and we liked having our own space instead of being in a hotel. It was a good start to our Japan adventure.
We were very satisfied with the accomodation, 2 bathrooms are a big YES. It was big enough for 5 people, although the arrangement of the apartment was a bit strange at first. There were a few cockroaches but the host was quick to help us and everything was good after that ! Thank you for the stay !
Ah yes - we did just spray for cockroaches and they do come out of their hiding spots when we do that. But I am glad that you enjoyed the stay.
Fuji House was a wonderful place to stay for our first time traveling to Japan. It is in a very peaceful location close to train station. The rooms were clean, spacious and full of guide information for tourists. Tracey and Ashley were amazing hosts, very responsive when messaging and making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A big thank you to Richard as well for helping us check in and being so friendly. When we come back for another visit, Tokyo Family Stays is first on the list!
Great house, everything was comfortable, the host was very patient with help with the issues, we appreciated that everything needed was able to be found in the room, the neighborhood was quiet residential area, the neighbors were also quite friendly and everything was very nice.
Communication before and during the trip was very fluid. In the apartment there were many details that facilitated the stay: loaders and adapters of all kinds, multiple towels, very well equipped bathrooms, a very detailed instruction manual, breakfast supplies, etc. The duplex layout seemed especially appropriate for the reality of a family with teenagers, guaranteeing privacy for everyone. Without a doubt, having two bathrooms was a very welcome plus. We also found it very comfortable and practical to be able to combine the laundry at home with a laundry self service open 24 hours for drying less than 100 meters from the house. There are several convenience stores near the house, ideal for managing breakfasts and dinners. We truly felt at home!.
We had a great 2 nights stay at this property and love the location which was not too far from Shinjuku area. The house has proper and generous amenities, also surrounded by lots of konbini! I have to mention what a great host Tracey was! Kind, responsive, and very good at directing us about the location as well as the dos and donts. Definitely come back again for next visit to Tokyo
I've traveled to Tokyo with a friend after staying in Kyoto. Tracey was quick to respond and sent instructions on how to go to the BNB. We walked to the location and Ash greeted us on the street. Ash gave us a warm welcome, and he showed us everything in the apartment, gave clear instructions on how everything worked and also informed us about the neighbors. Which, I think, is important because we were staying in a quiet neighborhood. The lights were flickering when we arrived and after a brief message to Ash, he fixed it right away. If you go to Tokyo and, like us, and want to spend a week or longer (we've stayed for 3 weeks) in Tokyo, be sure to check this BNB out. The supermarket is around the corner, there is a good sushi and ramen restaurant and the metro is just a 4-5 min walk. There are always small critique points, but for us, this stay was five stars, and we'd like to thank Ash and Tracey again for their generous welcome and fantastic BNB.
Tracey’s place was really convenient for our stay and the price for the size made it a good value. Quick tip when coming back to Nakano fujimicho take any line to m06 and then switch trains tk Honancho. There is always a local train going back and forth. Otherwise you may wait a long time at Shinjuku waiting for the Honancho train.
