
Welcome to Soul Search Zoshigaya β a character-filled 28γ‘ loft apartment for guests who want to experience everyday Tokyo rather than stay in a conventional hotel.
Tucked away in a quiet residential neighbourhood, the apartment is just a short walk from Zoshigaya Station and offers easy access to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Harajuku and Shibuya.
It is a great monthly base for digital nomads, language students, creatives, couples and independent travellers who enjoy local cafΓ©s, neighbourhood streets and a slightly more offbeat place to call home.
The apartment uses its 28γ‘ layout cleverly, with the main sleeping area tucked into a loft above the living space.
The loft gives the apartment plenty of personality and creates a cosy place to sleep while keeping the main living area open during the day. It is particularly suited to younger and more adventurous guests who enjoy an unconventional Tokyo home.
Please note that the loft has a low ceiling and is accessed by stairs. You will need to bend and move carefully in parts of the sleeping area, so it may not suit very tall guests or anyone with mobility concerns.
This is a real Tokyo apartment where you can settle in, unpack and create a daily routine.
Work from the dining table, prepare meals at home, wash your clothes in the apartment and return each evening to a calm residential neighbourhood away from Tokyoβs busiest tourist streets.
The apartment is most comfortable for one or two guests. A third guest can stay using the sofa bed, although the living space will feel more compact.
The private kitchen has the essentials needed for everyday cooking during a longer stay.
The dining table is suitable for meals, study, creative projects or working remotely from your laptop.
An in-home washing machine makes it easy to travel light and manage your laundry during longer stays.
The apartment also includes clothes hangers, a drying rack and ironing essentials. Storage is practical but limited, so the property is best suited to guests who are not arriving with several oversized suitcases.
Zoshigaya offers a quieter and more local side of central Tokyo.
The surrounding streets have a relaxed residential atmosphere, with convenience stores, supermarkets, cafΓ©s, small restaurants and local shops nearby.
The historic Tokyo Sakura Tram is also close by, offering a slower and more nostalgic way to explore this part of the city.
This neighbourhood is a good match for guests who want to live among Tokyo residents while still having convenient access to major shopping, nightlife and cultural areas.
Please note that there is a noticeable hill on the approach to the apartment. Most guests find it manageable, but it can be inconvenient when carrying heavy luggage.
Minimum Stay
This apartment is available exclusively for stays of 30 nights or longer.
Monthly Rental Agreement
Guests will be asked to complete a simple monthly rental agreement before check-in in accordance with Japanese rental requirements.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required. The amount and payment details will be confirmed before the booking is finalised.
Utilities
Electricity, gas and water are included in the monthly rate up to Β₯30,000 per month, which is generally sufficient for normal daily use.
If usage exceeds this allowance due to unusually high consumption, the additional cost will be charged at the actual rate.
All guests staying at the apartment must be registered before arrival.
Guests who do not reside in Japan will be asked to provide a copy of the identification page of their passport as required under Japanese regulations.
