Ideal spot to stay

This is a great base from which to explore Tokyo. The studio has everything you need for an extended stay and is near several major landmarks in the city, all the while being in a quiet area perfect to relax after a long day out. It's very near the station too which is helpful to get around. Ash showed us how everything worked perfectly, and was easy to contact throughout. We'd thoroughly recommend this spot and would stay again.

Perfect place to stay!

Yoyogi Ivy 201 was the perfect place for our stay in Tokyo! It's roomier than a hotel, close to the train station, and a couple of konbinis nearby. Just above Shibuya, we walked through Yoyogi Park our first day there, on our way to Shibuya where we had planned to do a lot of shopping. The location is just a side street off the main road, so the noise levels were low at night. We were truly missing the apartment once we moved on to our hotel in another city. This was a great place to stay to tourist around Tokyo! We will definitely check availability with Tokyo Family Stays first when we visit Japan again! Ash was also very communicative in making sure we had what we needed and in case any other issues arose (which there wasn't). Thank you for the yuzu soap from Noto as well! We brought it home and it has a lovely scent!

Perfect Location!

This place is in a perfect location. We were able to get around the area with ease and enjoy all that Tokyo has to offer. There were great restaurants and convenience stores just steps away. The proximity to the train station and a beautiful park are just the beginning of this great area. I would highly recommend this location if the sleeping situation works for you.

Can't reccommend enough!

Both the accommodation and host are phenomenal. The host guided us through the check-in process, giving us all the necessary information we needed for our stay, and went even further to give us recommendations of the local area, assist us with minor problems at the drop of a hat, and stayed to fix the TV for us when it wasn't properly working to ensure we had an awesome stay. Top-tier host! In regards to the accommodation, it was right in the middle of all the hotspots of West Tokyo so it made getting around extremely easy. The place was extremely clean and organized, just as depicted by the listing. Can't recommend this place enough, would definitely stay here again on future trips to Japan!

Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place to stay for my first time in Tokyo. Super comfortable bed, great bathroom with a shower that was much bigger than I expected, well stocked amenities with everything I could need. The apartment was so close to everything; convenience stores, train station, cafes and all sorts of food places you could imagine including the best ramen! Tracey & Ashley were more than accommodating ensuring that I was happy with everything and even recommended some beautiful places to go to and were a great help when I needed some advice especially navigating Japans transport system. I ended up extending a few days I just loved everything so much. Couldn’t recommend this apartment and the hosts highly enough. Thank you Tokyo Family Stays! I will be back.

Fabulous location and great bed!

I had a wonderful stay at Yoyogi Ivy. It is tastefully decorated with Japanese and Western highlights, is well-appointed with all the amenities and is located within 4 minutes of Yoyogi station. I has the most comfortable bed -- I arrived jetlagged and slept beautifully to be back on JST the next day. I would definitely choose this uber-convenient and comfortable apartment as my home away from home when I am next in Tokyo.
